28 Weeks

I am actually 29 weeks right now, so this is last weeks excitement and picture. Andrew wanted to be in this one but he didn't understand to keep the sign below his face. At my 26 week appointment we had our diabetes test and passed!! Now I am going to the Dr every two weeks. Crazy!! Last weeks appointment went well. I am still measuring at least a week ahead of my due date. The Dr thinks the baby is tall and skinny. We will find out soon because I get another ultrasound at 32 weeks. My blood pressure is still really good and the baby's heart rate was good. I am feeling so blessed lately with Andrew and this healthy baby on the way. We started the nursery this week too! (Post to follow.)

Total weight gain: +25 lbs This is just getting out of control. I am really trying to watch what I eat but all I want to do is eat. Oh well, the end goal is a healthy baby right?? With Andrew I gained 50 lbs so as long as I am under that I will be happy.

Gender: Boy!!! I am still buying this little boy new clothes and I should probably stop. We really need to get a name picked out!

Movement: This little boy caused some problems. Last week he decided to majorly decrease his movement for 2 days. The first day he just didn't move a lot and the next day I maybe felt him twice. I decided to call the Dr and they told me to come in. As soon as they put me on the monitor he was moving all over the place. His heart rate was fine and they sent us home. Thank God!! Since then he has been moving like crazy.

Sleep: Sleep is good!!

What I miss: My old body :(

Cravings: Fruit

Living Room Facelift

I thought I would post some pictures our big home project. We finally got built in shelves!! I have wanted them for so long because the living room just seem kind of awkward with two empty spaces. We are glad we got them but now I need to figure out how to decorate them. They make the room brighter and it some how feels bigger.

Easter Weekend!!

This Easter was a little bit better than last because Andrew was not sick, but I was :(  I realized now that I was sick on Christmas and Easter.  Not cool!!  I am finally feeling better.  We really had to rely on Daddy for Easter.  I had to send him out to finish Easter shopping.  We colored eggs on Saturday.

For some reason we had to have our hood up for coloring eggs.

Grandma sent a few Easter surprises that Andrew got to open on Saturday.  Thank you Grandma!!

Andrew was showing me that he got Jeff Corvette

We decided to give him his basket after church so we would make it to church.  The Easter bunny hid some eggs with his Easter basket.  The rest of the day was pretty low key.  I am really looking forward to when baby brother can share in these holidays with us.

One of my favorite parts of the day is when I came downstairs in this dress and Andrew stopped what he was doing and said I looked like a princess!!  It was so sweet because I know I looked more like a whale princess.  Every time, which is very rare, I wear a dress he thinks I look like a princess.  So cute!!!

Our attempt at a family pic.  Not good of me at all but still wanted to include how cute the boys looked.

Mema's 60th Birthday!!

This past weekend we took a trip out to Missouri to visit Mema for her birthday. It was a pretty special birthday for her and she wanted all of the family together. The trip ended up being pretty short. We left on Friday after picking Andrew up from school. The Dr told me that we have to stop every hour so I could get out and walk for ten minutes to prevent any blood clots from forming. Let me just tell you, that was so much fun :( I was actually surprised because I had to go to the bathroom every time we stopped anyway. Traveling with a pregnant girl isn't tons of fun. Before making it there Andrew started with a fever in the car. He also had a cough. We made it there either way after about nine hours in the car. The trip is usually seven. The next day we were able to celebrate Mema's birthday with the family. It was so good getting to see everyone!!! Andrew had a blast seeing Mema and Papa and the rest of the family. He was such a trooper with his cold.

Aunt Laura and Mark
Andrew got to sign Aunt Laura's cast.
Andrew's buddy, Johnny
We also celebrated Easter!

We planned on leaving on Sunday but we ended up leaving Saturday night because a snow storm was coming. Back in the car we went. I was not looking forward to being the car so soon. About half way through the trip Mark started with a fever. He ended up getting the same cold that Andrew had. We made it home that night around 3 am. Of course, I ended up getting the same cold on Monday. It was a crazy trip, but it was worth it to see everyone and help Mema celebrate her 60th birthday!! Happy Birthday Mema, we love you!!

25 Weeks

Andrew and I tried to get a 24 week picture but it wasn't easy.  Since I took the picture of myself, you only get to see the baby bump.  That is the most important part anyway!  Here is the best picture I got.

Total weight gain: +19 lbs  Still growing strong!

Gender: Boy!!!  I started getting clothes out and washed.

Movement: Now that he is bigger I can feel him all of the time.  Sometimes I wonder what he is doing in there.

Sleep: Sleep is good, but I am starting to get more tired during the day.  The other night the baby had the hiccups at 3:00 in the morning.

What I miss: Having energy and grande lattes!!

Cravings: Nothing specific lately, just food.

Snow Day

Wednesday was so much fun!! I love my days with Andrew, but Wednesday was great. We started off the day getting ready for our play group, but then it was canceled because it snowed the night before. Andrew was not very happy and we were already in route. The roads were not bad at all so I decided to take a trip downtown to Mass Ave. I wanted to go because there is a fabric store I have been wanting to check out. I knew Andrew would enjoy it because there is a big toy store there too. We ended up going to the toy store, fabric store, dog bakery, and cupcake bakery. It ended up being so much fun!! Here is a picture of Andrew on Mass Ave with the infamous Ann Dancing.

After that we headed home. I decided to stop by Panera on the way home to grab a few bagels because I was pretty hungry. When we got there we ran into a few people from church. We ended up having lunch with one of them. It is always fun when random things happen like that.
After dinner Mark decided to take Andrew to the park to do a little sledding. I wondered if that was going to be successful. Here are a couple pictures and videos of that. It obviously went well. It made me so happy to see them having so much fun.

Today I realized how thankful I am for the path God has given our family. When we were trying to have a baby I just never understood why it was taking so long. Today I see why. I am SO thankful for getting to spend the last three years with Andrew. I love getting to know his personality and I truly love our Mommy/Andrew time. Don't get me wrong, I am still super excited for baby #2!! It just goes to show you to have faith in "the plan."

The best way to end the day at our house!
