Andrew's First Thanksgiving

Andrew's first Thanksgiving was so much fun!! I was excited to have Andrew eat his first Thanksgiving meal. We decided to stay at home because we have done so much traveling this year. My mom came in from Cincinnati to join us.

Andrew's first bite of stuffing. He was a little unsure at first.

He ate stuffing, turkey, sweet potatoes, green beans, and cranberries. He seemed to like it all.

This Thanksgiving stuff is making me tired!

Andrew and I last year at Thanksgiving!!

Andrew and I this Thanksgiving!
A lot can change in a year. So much to be thankful for this year. God has blessed us in so many ways.

Andrew had to wear his new Christmas PJs that Grandma gave him. Thanks Grandma!!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We are very thankful for all of our family and friends!

Love,
Tracey, Mark, and Andrew

I Love Books!!

Andrew loves books!! This is a good thing because you very rarely find me reading a book. I am so glad he has taken such an interest in books.

He has a little basket of books in his room that he loves to go through. He will start emptying the basket until he finds the book that interests him.

His favorite book is Brown Bear Brown Bear.

Christmas Cards

I cannot believe there are only 38 days until Christmas!! Usually I make my Christmas cards, but believe it or not, an 11 month old running around makes it hard to do projects. For Andrew’s birthday I ordered his invites through www.shutterfly.com and they turned out amazing. I was so surprised at how easy it was to upload the photos and crop them to look perfect on the invite. When I realized that I wasn’t going to have time to make my Christmas cards, I looked at what Shutterfly had to offer and I was pretty impressed. There are so many options to choose from. We recently had our family pictures taken, so this is a perfect way to send them out for all of our friends and family to see.

If you still need Christmas cards this year check out Shutterfly’s collection at http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/christmas-cards

Here are a few of my favorites

I really like the layout of this one and the monogram in the middle of the card. I also like the traditional Christmas colors.

I think this one looks very classy. I like the blue and black together.

I like this one because it has a scrapbook feel to it. I like the different size pictures.

I really like this one because you can add your Christmas letter. So many families use Christmas cards as a way to update friends and family on the past year.

I like how this card is one big picture and the message is very simple.

I think I am going to have a hard time deciding. I thought I knew which one I was going to pick, but after taking a closer look I found more that I like. I am excited to get this project started!

My Baby Boy Is Growing Up

Change is in the air here at the Creason house. Andrew will be 11 months in the next couple days!! I just keep wondering, how am I going to get this kid to eat grown up food and drink milk from a sippy cup? It has never been a secret that Andrew loves to eat. I thought he would be excited to try grown up food because he hasn't really met a baby food he disliked. Lets just say we are still working on that...

Slowly, he has started to figure it out.

Andrew has mastered crawling, pulling himself up, and cruising along furniture. He loves exploring new things. I don't know where we would be without baby gates!! He loves playing upstairs because he can walk along the banisters and look downstairs. This picture was taken Halloween night when we were getting ready to take a bath. As soon as you put him down he is on the move.

He also loves books!! We read a story to him every night before he goes to bed. Mark usually does bedtime. I love that they have that special time together because Mark has been so busy with work and school. It is so great to see Andrew's face light up as soon as Mark walks in the door.

I feel like my baby is turning into a little boy so fast. I have started planning Andrew's first birthday and it has made me realize how fast this year has gone. I took one last picture of his room because I decided to take the mobile down today.

I guess it is time to start thinking about another...Just kidding!!!

Andrew's First Halloween!!

Andrew's first Halloween went great!! We dressed him up as a puppy. He actually didn't mind having the costume on. I thought the costume turned out so cute!

We decided to take him to a couple houses on our street. He liked watching all of the kids in their costumes. At each house we would let him pick a piece of candy out of the bowl, but he really didn't understand. I figured we really didn't need to do a whole lot of trick or treating considering Andrew doesn't eat candy.
