Lowe's with Dad

Andrew and Mark have been going to this little class at Lowe's. Andrew gets to build something different each time. Andrew loves to go with Daddy and use all of the tools. Lowe's has all of the tools the kids need to build their project. The first time they went, they built a sleigh and the second time they built a little surprise for me! Andrew gave it to me for my birthday. It was a heart shaped flower vase. I love that the boys have something special to do together and the best part is it's free!! This weekend they built a monster truck and Andrew couldn't stop playing with it.

Lowes gave him an apron that he got to keep. They also give out a patch for the apron every time they complete a class.

 

Valentine's Day

We had a very fun Valentine's Day this year! We went to a little party with our play group and the kids exchanged Valentine's. It was pretty cute!

When we got home we found a big surprise from Mark even though it was the day before Valentine's Day. There were 36 balloons each with a different picture of all of Mark's favorite memories of us. It definitely brought tears to my eyes. It was so sweet!!

On Valentine's Day we went to Flip Zone with the Johnston's. We have been going to Flip Zone on Thursdays to their open gym. They have trampolines, balance beams, and little obstacle courses. Andrew loves it there. After Flip Zone we stopped by the cupcake shop and had the Johnston's over for lunch. Andrew had a blast. We enjoyed our evening together at home as a family!!

 

Monster Jam

I am a little late on this post, but Mark and Andrew had a boys night out at the end of January. They went out to dinner and then to Monster Jam. Andrew was so excited to go. I just love to watch how excited he gets about doing special things like this. The boys went to dinner at a local burger place and then they met Case, Wayne, JJ, and Aaron at Monster Jam. They ended up having a great time. Andrew is all about monster trucks now. Here are a few pictures I stole from Mark's phone.

 

19 Weeks

It's a boy!! We had our ultrasound last week and found out we are having a healthy boy!! It was so great seeing him moving around in there. The Dr said my placenta is in the front so that is why I haven't been able to feel the baby move very well. The Dr also said he has long legs, but that is also what they said about Andrew. I am so excited for Andrew to have a baby brother. I just can't wait to meet him. There is something about having a second baby that is pretty special because I already know how much love is going to come out of this!!

Total weight gain: +9 lbs Holy growth spurt!!

Gender: Boy!!!

Movement: I can probably feel him moving around once a day.

Sleep: A little better.

What I miss: Normal clothes

Cravings: This week it has probably been string cheese and these new veggie chips I found at Kroger.

Best moment this week: Finding out the baby is healthy and a boy.
