Projects: It's time to get crafty!

So I have been trying to get this house in order before the baby gets here. That includes spring cleaning, sorting things for a garage sale, and to finish up all of those crafty projects I have been wanting to do. I finally got through most of the spring cleaning and garage sale stuff, so that means it is time for crafts!! Thought I would share a few with you :)
This is for the nursery. We still need to get it on the wall. I can't wait to take pictures once the nursery is finished.  The letter L does not mean that the name is set in stone.  I haven't glued it down yet :)
This is in Andrew's room above his bed. I took the pictures and framed them myself. Saved me so much money doing it myself :)
This is my attempt to get our dinners organized before the baby comes. Hope it helps!
These are just a few things I have been working on. I am also finishing a couple blankets, burp cloths, and onesies for the baby. Hopefully the nursery will be done by the end of the week. The count down has started. One more month to go!!

32 Weeks

Baby Brother really likes to give us a scare when we least expect it. I had my appointment this week with our last routine ultrasound. That morning he hadn't moved at all and during the ultrasound he only moved a couple times. We ended up getting a non-stress test to make sure everything was ok. Of course, he started moving all over as soon as the test started. The dr said the baby looked great but didn't like that I was having contractions! I have been having Braxton hicks contractions and thought they were normal, but I guess the dr was a little concerned. She decided to do a test to check to see if my body was preparing for labor and thank God that test came back negative. We did find out that I am 1 cm already! (Sorry to my guy readers if that was TMI) She isn't too concerned, but I do have to go back for another appointment next week. Looks like the next month will be a lot of resting for me. Just glad we figured this out and can keep an eye on things. We don't need baby brother here before 37 weeks!!
Here is an exclusive peak at his adorable face!! I know you will be tempted to sell it to the tabloids! I love looking at him! We never got a 4d ultrasound with Andrew, so this was pretty exciting for us. His arm is right under his face. He was very comfy in that position! The ultrasound tech said that he has a big head (surprise, surprise) and he is measuring 34 weeks/5lbs!! I love how our kids inherit my husbands big head, but he is not the one that gets to push them out.

Total weight gain: +26 lbs Finally slowing down a little. I have been trying to eat a little more healthy, except for this week :)

Gender: Boy!!! We really need a name!! Any suggestions? Lucas, Brady, Landon, ???

Movement: One day he moves all day and the next he is lazy.

Sleep: Sleep is still pretty good. I think my body is starting to go into Mommy mode. I can't really sleep more than 7 hours. I will lay in bed in the morning and cannot go back to sleep.

What I miss: Being able to comfortably hold Andrew.

Cravings: Watermelon!!

Time to Start the Nursery!!

A few weeks ago we decided it was time to start the nursery. We decided to keep it the same color we had for Andrew, but it still needed a few holes patched and some touch up paint. Andrew had to help Daddy and it was so cute! It was so fun to see them together. It reminded me of when Mark was working on the nursery for Andrew alone and now he has a little helper. The night before he started working on it, I went in and cleared out all of the things from Andrew's nursery. I wasn't really thinking it would be hard for me but it was. It just kind of made me sad to think how fast Andrew has grown up. I then realized that I am going to be a major train wreck the day this boy moves out.
This next nursery has an elephant theme and is light blue and gray. I decided we really didn't need to buy a whole new bedding set because you never use half of it. I just bought these super cute sheets and mobile. I was also able to find some gray and blue fabric at Joann's, so I made the bed skirt. Now I am on the hunt for some curtains, wall art, and changing pad covers. Not sure if I will buy or make it. Making it sounds like a good idea but not sure how realistic it is :) I will update once the nursery is totally ready for Baby #2.
