Best Friends

Andrew and Grace have a little bit of a love/hate relationship. Andrew could play with Grace for hours if I let him. Grace probably wouldn't enjoy it too much. I am always so surprised at how patient Grace is with Andrew. He pulls on her ears and tail. He thinks it is hilarious to chase her around with his lion push toy. Even though Andrew seems to annoy her, she still loves being around him. These pictures are from last weekend.

Andrew: Where are you Grace???

Grace: Maybe if I am really still he will leave me alone.

She loves giving him kisses. Right in the mouth-Gross!

Love this picture!! Mommy, what is wrong with kisses on the mouth from Grace?

I hope they continue to get along well. Grace is starting to get older and I hope she doesn't start to get grumpy. She will be seven in July. It made me sad to see the word "senior" on her vet paperwork.

Just in case you were wondering why she has a bare patch on her arm-she recently had her teeth cleaned and a mass removed from her eye.

Fun With Food

It is no surprise that Andrew loves to eat! As long as it is not veggies. The one thing that no one ever mentioned about becoming a mom is the constant mess a child is capable of during meal and snack time. After each meal there is always a huge mess of crumbs and pieces of food that didn't make it to his mouth. The Swiffer Sweeper has become my new best friend. Grace really enjoys the extra snack she gets after each meal.

He loves Guacamole!! He always looks so cute when he is messy! (That is, of course, until he gets it on me)

We started using plates about a month ago and he loves to play with them when he is finished.

I love him!!

Trip to the Children's Museum

Andrew and I took a trip to the Children's Museum with some of his/my friends. He had a lot of fun practicing his walking. We played at the Dora/Diego exhibit, rode the carousel and then we played at the Playscape. The Playscape is designed for kids five and under. By that time Andrew was getting a little tired and hungry. Andrew is at such a fun age right now. We are really looking forward to the spring so we can get out and do more.
