ATV
I had to post this video of Andrew riding his ATV for the first time. This was one of his Christmas presents this year. Thanks Mema and Papa. Looks like we are in need of a little practice.

What a week!!
Last week was one of those weeks! I will say at least the weather was nice, but if the weather was bad maybe it wouldn't have been such a bad week. For those of you that don't know, Andrew had a little accident on Tuesday night. The weather was great on Monday and Tuesday. Mark had just arrived home from work and wanted to let Andrew play outside for a little bit. I used that time to take a quick shower and get dinner ready. Mid shower Mark rushed into the bathroom with Andrew. Andrew was bleeding from his face and mouth. Let me just stop and say the moment you see your baby really bleeding for the first time is not fun at all.
Andrew had fallen off of his tricycle and hit his mouth on the driveway. He chipped a tooth, had a fat lip, and scrapes on his face. The bleeding slowed down after about 30 minutes. My first thought was to page the pediatrician. He could at least tell me if I need to take him to the emergency room or what to watch for. The only problem with that was that he never returned my call. After three pages to him over an hour time span, nothing! That made things so much harder on us. We didn't want to overreact, but we weren't sure how bad he was really hurt because he just laid there in our arms. I ended up paging his dentist. Thank God he called back and put me at ease.
That night Mark and I slept like the first night we brought Andrew home. We had the video monitor on and the volume cranked up. I think we both slept with one eye open. I was so nervous that we were going to go the dentist and hear that his front top teeth were going to die and fall out. I can thank google for putting those thoughts in my head. Note: If your child hurts their baby teeth DO NOT search it on google. Better yet don't search anything you are worried about on google.
I was finally at ease after our dentist appointment. The dentist said it looked a lot worse than what it was. The teeth were not loose and were not knocked out of place. He told us to come back in a week. Over that first week Andrew healed so fast!! His teeth were tender for a few days. We had our follow up appointment this week and they took an x-ray. They didn't see anything bad in the x-ray and he said it is just a waiting game to see if the teeth die. We have to go back in a month.
I am so glad that Andrew is ok. No broken bones and no major damage. So I guess I survived my baby's first injury. I just hated seeing him in pain. I am so thankful for our amazing dentist too!! If anyone in the Indianapolis area needs a dentist I highly recommend Dr. Bozic.

Boys Will Be Boys
Recently I was cleaning out a closet and Andrew was playing with his cars. I felt like he was being way too quite so I checked on him and this is what I found.

Choo Choo
Andrew's new favorite thing-TRAINS. One of his presents from Santa was a train set. Every morning he wakes up asking to play with his train. A couple weeks ago Mark and I decided to take Andrew to a train exhibit at the Eiteljorg Museum downtown. Andrew was in train heaven. It was fun to get to do something like this as a family. Here are a few pictures from the exihibit.
Andrew got to learn all about American Indians since it is the musuem of American Indians and Western Art. He had fun exploring and did a really good job not touching everything or throwing any major tantrums.
He feel asleep on the way home eating his lunch.
After the train exhibit we looked around the rest of the museum and found some other fun things to do. We found out the whole downstairs is for kids. So here are a couple other things we got to do.
