36-37 Weeks

I can't believe I am at the end of this pregnancy!!  I am going to the Dr every week now!  I feel like this baby is coming any day now.  Who knows if I am right, but it would be nice.  My mom is in town for the next couple days to help out, so it would be nice if everything would move along.  At my last two Dr appointments I have been 2 cm and 50% effaced.  I am having contractions every now and then, but nothing stays regular for long enough.  My Dr has been out of town for the holidays but she is back now!!  Baby #3 I give you permission to come anytime :) I have my next appointment on Monday and I will be 38 weeks on Tuesday.

I can't wait to meet this baby!!!  I am starting to get sad realizing this might be our last baby!!  As uncomfortable as I may be and as much as I am not a fan of pregnancy, there is still something so amazing about bringing a baby into this world.  Carrying a baby for 9 months is something so special and such an amazing gift from God.  I am not 100% sure this is our last, but probably 90% sure.  I know God has a plan for our family and we will see where things go from here.  I don't want to forget what it feels like when the baby pushes its foot totally across my belly or what it feels like the first time you see their little heart beat flickering on the ultrasound screen.  I am so excited to see this little baby's face.  I am looking forward to this baby, but I am also ready for time to slow down so I can enjoy my 3 babies!!!  I just want to enjoy every moment.  I feel like everything with Lucas went much faster than Andrew and I have a feeling that time will go by even faster with this baby.  I am promising myself right now to slow down and enjoy every moment.

Size of Baby and Mama: Baby is supposed to be the size of a head of romaine lettuce, which would be about 6 lbs and 18.5 inches long.  At 36 weeks I am about 36 pounds.  I am sure that could be a little higher after the holiday.

Gender/Names: I was thinking it was a girl for a little while, but I think I am back to boy again.  We are leaning toward Eli for a boy and Adalynn for a girl.  Of course...that could all change once we meet the little peanut!

Movement: This baby is still my most active baby.  I am still having big movement that you can see if you watch my belly.

Sleep: Sleep isn't awesome right now.  My body is in that phase where it seems to be preparing for the lack of sleep.  I have been staying up late and then I can't sleep in.  Mark has been getting up with the boys over the holidays but I can't really sleep once they wake up.  I haven't been napping either.

What I miss: Missing regular clothes and being comfortable.  It is hard to do everything now!!  Lucas gets mad when I hold him because he can't get comfortable.  Not too much longer!!

Cravings: Chocolate, cookies, anything sweet!!

Here's to hoping my next baby update is the birth!!

Happy 5th Birthday Andrew!!!

That time has come again...my baby turned 5 on December 11th!!  5 just seems so old!!  Every time I look at him I feel like he looks taller and older.  Wasn't I just writing his 4 year old blog post?!  I just can't believe that starting Kindergarten and losing teeth are on the horizon!  I can't even imagine not having him home with me.

This year we decided to have his birthday at Flip Zone with a Lego theme.  The kids really had a great time!!  It was nice having the whole place to ourselves and letting the kids run free.  I gave Andrew the option of a cake, cupcakes, or cake pops.  He chose cake pops and we had Lego cake pops made.  They were so cute!! The kids loved them!!  Andrew had so much fun with his friends!!!  Andrew has had a blast playing with all of his new toys.  He got a few new Lego sets and he has had so much fun putting them all together.  On his actual birthday Daddy took a half day so he could spend the morning with us.  We gave Andrew a choice of what he wanted for breakfast and he chose cinnamon rolls.  We opened presents and Daddy helped Andrew set up his new race track he got for his birthday.  Later in the day Mema and Papa came out to visit.  We went to Sals for some pizza to finish the birthday celebration.

Right now Andrew is so into Legos and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!  He also loves coloring, puzzles, books, board games, football, and watching movies.  He is still loving school and has made a few really good friends.  We actually just had his conference at school and the teacher was super positive!! He is starting to read and always impresses me when he reads a random word.  His imagination is amazing!!  Some of the things he comes up with really surprise me.  He has such a good sense of humor and he is still an emotional kid.  He is such a good big brother to Lucas and I am so excited to see how he reacts to baby #3.  He is always talking about the baby and has to say good night to the baby every night.  Don't get me wrong he and Lucas have their moments.  The boys are sharing a room now and Andrew seems to really like it.

At his 5 year Dr appointment he was 40.4 lbs and 43.5 inches tall.  He is such a picky eater and takes forever to eat.  Most meals are a negotiation to get him to finish.  His meals consist of PB&J, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, pizza, and mac & cheese.  He loves most fruits, carrots, and salad.  Of course, dessert is his favorite!!

Andrew will always hold a very special place in my heart because he is my first baby!!  He taught me how to be a Mommy.  I love him more than I could ever express or I ever thought possible!!

Pictures with Santa

The Christmas Season is in full swing at the Creason's and has been since Thanksgiving.  We took our annual trip to see Santa the weekend before Thanksgiving.  Andrew was so excited and has been making his Christmas list since the first toy catalog came in the mail.  We put up our tree the day before we went to see Santa and Buddy the Elf is always waiting at our house when we get home from visiting Santa.  Buddy likes to leave a small gift for the kids on his first day.  This year he left a small lego set for Andrew and a book for Lucas.  The boys did great with Santa.  At first Andrew was a little shy but warmed up and told Santa a few things he wants for Christmas.  Lucas was more interested in playing with the Christmas decorations than spending time with Santa.

32 Weeks

This one is a little late!! I am actually 33 weeks, but I am squeezing this post in before 34 weeks.  We finally got to see baby #3 on ultrasound!!!  All great news at this appointment!!  Baby was 4lbs 10oz and head down.  All other measurements were good and we are on track for an average sized baby.  Here I thought this baby was big. It was so amazing to see this little peanut's face.  It brought tears to my eyes as soon as I saw it.  This all feels so different this time around.  I feel like I haven't had time to really let this all sink in.  I am so excited but so nervous about how I am going to be as a mother of 3.  I know I have plenty of room in my heart to love all 3!!  I may just never leave the house again once this baby is born :)

Look at that face and that cute little hand!!!

This time you get the no make up/sweatshirt look!!
Size of Baby and Mama: Baby is supposed to be the size of a large jicama.  Ummm....jicama?!  Am I the only one who has never heard of that????  Just in case you were wondering what that is, I googled it for you.  It is a Mexican yam or Mexican turnip.  Bet you didn't know you were going to learn something like that reading this blog.  The baby should be around 3 3/4 pounds and about 17 inches long!!  I have gained 30 lbs!  Yikes!

Gender/Names: No updates here.  I did have a total stranger tell me today that I am having a girl because I am carrying high.

Movement: Lots of big kicks lately!! This baby loves to push it's foot out.  If you just watch my belly you will usually see crazy movements.

Sleep: Sleep is pretty good right now!

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach and being able to go about my day pain free.  Everything is achy right now.

Cravings: Cookies!!!! I can't wait to make Christmas cookies!

Thanksgiving in Indy

This year we had an attempt at a low key Thanksgiving!  Being 33 weeks pregnant, low key sounds great!! We decided to stay home and anyone that wanted to join us was welcome. My family decided to make the trip out for the day.  I decided to prep some the day before to make a little less work on the day of.  It all sounded like a great idea...until I started peeling potatoes with my new peeler and took a chunk out of my finger!!!  Leave it to me to injure myself!  I think it was a blessing in disguise because Mark had to help with the cooking.  He did such a great job!  I helped with the sides and he did the turkey and made the mashed potatoes.  He did the vegetable chopping too.  I felt like a chef on TV because I got to dump ingredients together and cook them.  I basically got to do the fun part!  We had such a great day spend time together as a family.

The boys were so interested in watching Mark carve the turkey

Love him!!!

Since its the season to be thankful, I want to brag on my husband a little.  I am so thankful for him!!  He did such an awesome job with helping cook and never complained one time!  He has been helping out so much with the boys lately and letting me rest when I am tired!!  I love him so much and am so thankful that I get to to spend my life with him.  He is so patient with me and knows me so well.  Thanks for everything that you do Mark!!!  I love you so much!

Trick-or-Treat

This year Andrew made the decision that the boys would be ninja turtles.  I am sure everyone knows that Andrew is obsessed with ninja turtles.  I didn't love the idea at first, but they did look so cute in their costumes!!  I am such a sucker for coordinating costumes.  We actually had all four turtles between our boys and our neighbors.  We tried for a picture of all four, but the kids had different plans.

The turtles

The weather on Halloween was awful.  It was actually snowing about 30 minutes before trick-or-treat started.  It was so windy and freezing cold.  We still went out for a few houses,  We had our friends, The O'Learys, over to trick-or-treat with us.  I am sure you have seen their little guy, Patrick, in previous blog posts.  We brought Lucas and Patrick back inside, and Andrew did some more trick-or-treating with Daddy and our neighbor Asher.  Once we got back we really didn't have a ton of trick-or-treaters.  We ended up with so much left over candy, which is bad news for this pregnant mama!!  I am so sick of candy now!!  I am pretty sure everyone still had fun even though the trick-or-treating was short lived.

28 Weeks

Hello 3rd trimester!!!  We are getting closer to meeting our new little addition and I am so excited!  We still have so much to do, so we need everyday between now and 1/13/15 to get everything ready!  Here are a few pictures of all 3 baby bumps at 28 weeks!!  I even wore the same shirt for the most recent 2 :)

Baby #3

Lucas
Andrew
This one is a throw back in my old Buckle clothes probably after a long day of slinging jeans!! The fact that I have normal jeans on in this picture is a miracle!!

Size of Baby and Mama: Baby is supposed to be the size of a large eggplant.  The baby should be around 2 1/4 pounds and about 15 inches long!!  I have gained 23 lbs.  I am still measuring ahead by 3 weeks at my 28 week appointment.  The Dr thinks that the baby is tall and skinny, which is exactly what she said about Lucas.

Gender/Names: No updates here.  We still have the same list of names.  I did buy one more girl outfit last week, so if we do have a girl she has 3 outfits :)

Movement: This baby has been doing a lot of crazy movement.  The movement is slowing down a little but I still feel like the baby changes positions everyday.  Not sure if he or she is head down or up.

Sleep: Sleep isn't the greatest and I am not even that big yet.  The other night I woke up on my belly and that was a little painful.

What I miss: Eating without getting heartburn and bending over comfortably!

Cravings: I think I have officially moved to sweets.  Especially chocolate chip cookies and the lofthouse sugar cookies with icing!!
