My friend Merrin was so nice to invite us to the Children Museum. She has a family pass and was able to get us in for free. Andrew had a blast! He loves hanging out with his friend Blair. We might need to get a pass to the museum because Andrew enjoyed it more than I thought he would.
We made it to an Indians game as a family of four!! A couple weeks ago we decided to venture out and try a baseball game. We had so much fun and Lucas did great. The games are very family friendly and we sat in the upper section that isn't very crowded. We took Lucas in my new ergo carrier and that worked much better than worrying about a stroller.
I love my boys!!
Of course, Andrew had to track down Rowdy!!
I promise Lucas is somewhere in there! Thanks Mema and Papa for the carrier! I love it!
Andrew also got a chance to run the bases after the game. I wasn't sure if he would actually do it because the parents aren't allowed to go with them. He did it!! It was one of those proud Mommy moments. He looked like such a big boy! I almost lost it. I just can't believe how fast he is growing up. Here is a video of it. He is the little guy in the red shirt.
Lucas was 1 month on 7/18!! At least I am posting this in the same month :) I can't believe how fast time is flying by! He is such a good baby. He has his fussy time right around or after dinner. He is sleeping well. He gets up every 3-4 hours to eat, but then usually goes right back to sleep. He started out nursing but we have switched to formula after my little health issues a week after he was born. If you have not already heard I had to go to the ER twice because of a possible blood clot in my leg and what turned out to be minor heart issues. The last week of June was a crazy week for us. Thank God that everything is ok now!! Back to the eating, Lucas started out eating 2oz of formula and now he is up to 4oz. He transferred to the bottle very well. He is wearing newborn clothes, but is about to grow out of them. He wears size 1 diapers now.
His 1 month appointment went well. He was 10lbs 10oz 75th% and 23 inches long 98th%. He is growing like crazy!! He had to get 1 shot. He cried a little and bled a lot which was kind of weird! The nurse said it is nothing to worry about.
Here are a few pictures from his first month. I just wish time would slow down!!!
First Bath
He loves getting his hair washed
Cuddles at the hospital
Going home!
He loves to have his hands up by his face
After his first bath at home. His cord fell off on 7/4.
While Mema was in town I decided to go out and buy a baby pool. It was so hot and our neighborhood pool was having problems. Putting these blow up pools together is no fun!! I had to get some little air blower thing that is used for air mattresses to help blow it up. It was worth it because Andrew loved it!!
The best part about this is our neighbors just installed a pool that we aren't very happy about. They love to be loud when they swim late at night, which is awesome when you have a sleeping 3 year old and a newborn (crazy rant over) I felt real cool blowing up my baby pool while the neighbors watched from their pool :)
Andrew loves his pool!! It has an elephant slide and a palm tree!!! What more do you need :)
Mema and Papa came to visit a couple weeks ago. Mema stayed for a week and Andrew loved every minute of it. Mema did a great job keeping Andrew entertained, which was such a big help. I am pretty sure Mema got to play with every single toy Andrew owns. Papa came for a shorter visit. Andrew is always so excited to have them come over. Unfortunately, Andrew was sick during the visit so we didn't get to do as much as wanted to do. Andrew, Mark, and Mema did get to go see Despicable Me 2 and it was Andrew's first trip to the movies! Here are a few pictures from their visit.

Here are a few visitors that came to meet Lucas in the hospital. Thank you all so much for taking the time to come visit us. It means so much to have supportive and loving friends and family. I love you guys!!
