After the hayride the kids had cider and a cookie. They also got to see a big tractor. After that we went into the little store and kids were able to sample the apples too. Andrew could not stop talking about the pumpkin patch and he loves to open the front door to peak out to see his pumpkin sitting out there.

"Mommy, pumpkins grow on the ground..."
"...and apples grow on the trees!" I heard that a good 15 times last week. Andrew learned that when we went to Beasley's Orchard last week. We went with our playgroup on hayride through the orchard and out to their pumpkin patch. The kids were able to pick out a pumpkin to take home with them. The weather wasn't the greatest, but it didn't stop us from having fun. If I learned anything from our trip to England, it is not to let a cold rainy day get in the way of anything.
