Mmmmm...Black Beans
One thing about Andrew that is so interesting is his taste in food. I know I have said this before, but when he ate baby food he liked everything!! With table food, not so much. One of his favorites right now is black beans. Go figure! Mark and I love Mexican. When we eat it at home we always have corn and black beans as a side dish. Andrew will eat the black beans and corn like it is the main dish. I wonder if Andrew gets some of his taste from what I ate while I was pregnant? Taco Bell was a main staple in my pregnancy diet.

Project Get Rid of Paci...
So Mark and I decided it was time to get rid of the paci. We have talked about getting rid of it a few other times, but there always seemed to be a reason why it wouldn't work. On Saturday morning we decided to give it a try. Andrew only uses his paci for naps and bedtime.
Day one:
We started yesterday for his morning nap. When Mark laid him down he cried for about fifteen minutes before falling asleep and then slept for over an hour. For the afternoon nap we laid him down and it was less than ten minutes of crying. I still wasn't sold on success because we needed to go through a full nights sleep. We put him down for bed and he only cried for about two minutes!!! He woke up once in the middle of the night and whined for a minute, but still went back to sleep! Success!! The only problem is he woke up at 7:00am and there was nothing I could give him to buy an extra fifteen minutes of sleep.
Day two:
He fell asleep after crying for a minute on both naps today. We will see how tonight goes.
So far I consider it a success!! We will keep you posted...

All Dressed Up
Where is my baby?? Look at this little man. I just can't get over how big he looks in these pictures.

We went to a wedding when we were in Kansas City. It was a perfect time to get him a new dressy outfit because he can wear it for Easter too. I just wish he would leave the hat on.
Andrew and Aunt Laura...so cute!
Too bad we forgot to take a family picture of us all dressed up.

Andrew's First Kiss
Andrew is in trouble when he gets older because we have so many girls on our street. Our next door neighbor has two beautiful daughters, Aubree and Lainey. This year we spent New Year's Eve with them and that is when Andrew decided to make his move.

Andrew loves to give kisses and hugs. Nothing can make my day like a big kiss and hug from Andrew.

KC Road Trip
We took a trip to Kansas City, MO this past weekend to visit the Creason side of the family. We decided to leave in the evening which ended up being a bad idea. I learned that Andrew does not travel very well in the evening. He naps fine in the car during the day, but I guess not so much at night. We arrived at 12:30am. Andrew was wide awake at around midnight and didn't go down until about 1:45am. The one funny thing about toddlers is they do not sleep in. He was still up bright and early at 7:30am! He was one cranky little guy on Friday. Aside from the drive in everything was great. We were able to spend a lot of quality time with Mark's family.
Here are a couple pictures from the trip.
Andrew showed Grandma and Grandpa what a real mess looks like.
